What is it to verify your PayPal account?
For regulatory reasons and to increase the security of the payment network for merchants and buyers, PayPal must confirm the personal details of its customers (such as their name, address and date of birth) or company information. We call this the Customer Identification Program (CIP).
To do this, in some countries, PayPal tries to confirm personal information or business entity electronically. But sometimes your information may not be found in the National Database. In this case, you will be asked to send documents confirming your identity through your PayPal account.
This process unblocks the limitations placed in some countries on unverified accounts. So, to be sure to receive your funds without problems, you should verify your PayPal account as soon as possible.
